Cryptograph is a game. It is a crypto trading simulator that uses virtual money only — there is no real cryptocurrency and no real-money accounts. Because of this we collect very little about you. This policy explains what we do collect, why, and your rights.
This Privacy Policy explains how MOBILE TECH GATESHEAD LTD ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Cryptograph mobile app and related services (the "App"). We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
We are a company registered in England and Wales, with our registered office at Unit 1 Interchange Centre, West Street, Gateshead, NE8 1BH, United Kingdom. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Your in-game data — such as your virtual cash balance, virtual holdings, trade history, level, XP, streaks, achievements, and settings — is stored locally on your device so the game works. This data generally stays on your device and is removed if you clear the App's data or uninstall it.
When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically by us or our service providers:
We do not intentionally collect special-category data, and we do not collect real payment-card or bank details, because the App involves no real-money transactions.
We use the information above to:
The App is free and may be supported by ads. We use third-party advertising, attribution, and analytics providers — which may include AppsFlyer (mobile attribution and marketing analytics), Google AdMob (advertising), and Google Analytics for Firebase / Firebase Crashlytics (analytics and crash reporting) — that may collect and process device data, usage data, and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads (including, where permitted, personalised ads), to attribute app installs and marketing campaigns, and to provide analytics and crash reporting.
These providers act as independent controllers or processors for the data they collect through their SDKs, and their own privacy policies apply. You can learn more and manage choices here:
Your choices: on Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation in Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path may vary by device). Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before using certain advertising or analytics technologies, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Our website and in-app content use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage, software development kits, and device or advertising identifiers). Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to work and to remember your privacy choice. With your consent, we and our partners also use advertising and analytics cookies and identifiers — including Google AdMob (to serve and measure ads, and, where permitted, to show personalised ads), Google Analytics for Firebase / Crashlytics (analytics and crash reporting), and AppsFlyer (attribution).
When you first visit our website we show a cookie banner so you can accept or reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in a cookie and remembered on future visits. You can change it at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. On Android you can also reset your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation in your device settings.
Where the UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:
Some of our service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses — to protect your information.
In-game progress remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data collected by our analytics and advertising providers is retained according to their retention policies, typically for a limited period needed for the purposes described above, after which it is deleted or aggregated/anonymised.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@cryptograph-game.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
The App is not directed to children, and is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and because most game data stays on your device, keeping your device secure also helps protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App. Please review this policy periodically.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, contact us at support@cryptograph-game.app.
